CORRUGATED POLYPROPYLENE
SHELTERS
To meet the demands for
a cost effective emergency shelter, EMPAC International has
expanded to include sales and support of shelters, which are
constructed of recycled polypropylene treated with state of
the art preservatives. These shelters provide a means of immediate
shelters for victims of natural disasters or warfare.
SIZE AND SHAPE: Two
different model sizes are available: 1). 9 ft 4 in wide x
9 ft 4 in long at the base and 7 ft high at the center, and
2). 9 ft 4 in wide x 14 ft 8 in long at the base and 7 ft
high at the center. The main body of the shelter is in the
shape of a standard house with a pitched roof design. The
shelter can be increased in size by attaching two shelters
together. base. The packaged shipping container measures 6
ft. 1 in. x 6 ft. 2 in. x 12 in.
ENTRANCE: The shelter
can be entered and exited through a door attached to the shelter.
The shelter also has one window at the front side with two
windows at the rear section to provide ventilation. Those
windows are movable and attached to the shelter.
MATERIAL: The main
body of the shelter with the attached roof is made from 4
mm corrugated polypropylene. The floor and the ends are comprised
of 5 mm corrugated polypropylene. The material is ultra violet
light resistant.
